The Explorer Full Shrink from FOX is built on the Horizon X3 blank but with a unique extendable rear section so you can fish it at two lengths. The extendable rear section can be locked in two positions, allowing all models to be used in both 8ft and 10ft lengths. So you can effortlessly adjust the rod length to the fishing situation. The 4.25lb model is the perfect spod rod at 10ft (we don't recommend spoding at 8ft). This model is also ideal when a stiff rod is required or when targeting larger fish such as catfish and sturgeon.
