The Midi X Spomb from FOX is a reliable design that releases the bait on impact in the water. Throws further than other Spomb models. Size is in between Midi and Large Spomb. The Midi X model has been improved and has more weight in the front for extreme distances. Filled weight about 140-155 grams (bait dependent); perfect for extreme distance casting. High density foam makes the Spomb float. Using a Spomb float is not necessary and that improves the aerodynamics. We always recommend a Spomb or Spod rod for casting the Spomb. Always use a strong braided/mono shock leader to avoid line breakage. Always use a finger glove (finger stall) when feeding a Spomb.
