The Daimond Crystal from DRENNAN is one of the new contemporary carpodrome floats! By their very nature, floats have always been quite delicate, but the Drennan Crystal ® range all have extra strong blow molded bodies that cannot be cut or damaged by the line. Compared to balsa or foam bodies, they are effectively bulletproof! The other major advantage over painted floats is that they are transparent, crystal clear and much less noticeable to wary fish. While primarily designed for medium to large bait fishing in open water, the classic body shape of Diamond Crystal ® makes this a truly versatile design. The extra long, semi-flexible fiberglass stem works like a keel and ensures perfect behavior and stability. The 2.5mm diameter hollow glow tip provides fantastic visibility in a wide variety of lighting conditions. And of course, this lively tip can be stippled on tougher days and for shy biting fish. A fully circular carp side eye is mounted at the base of the hollow point which is internally reinforced for extra strength. This full circle eye and retention system protects the leash and prevents the eye from being pulled out of the body like a traditional side eye.
