MARCEL VAN DEN EYNDE's Carpano is an exceptionally high protein (without fish meal!!) carp bait (and bait) is ready and can be used as follows. To obtain a good result, a feeding spot should be created about 3 to 4 days before the planned fishing day, so that the carp get to know this as new food. On the first day, 15 to 20 bulbs are cast with a diameter of about 4 cm. The second day 10 to 15 bulbs. To maintain the feeding spot, 10 bulbs of Carpano are thrown per day and even every two days. To use Carpano as bait, balls with a diameter of 3 cm are sufficient. These weigh about 20 grams, 4 cm bulbs weigh about 40 grams. These are heavy enough to cast without lead. Once you are lying on the feeding spot, you carefully tighten the wire and set up the rod so that the top points straight to the feeding spot. Preferably open the bracket of the reel, so that the carp has as little resistance as possible. With 1 kg of Carpano food you can make 50 balls with a diameter of 4 cm. So you can calculate yourself how much you need. The best way to progressively moisten carpano…. A little water…. knead, back a little water…. Knead until the required substance is obtained. Not too hard or not too soft. A ball of carpano bait does not disintegrate and lasts for more than 24 hours. To keep the bait ball on the hook during the cast, it is best to first place a crust of bread, size in relation to the bait ball, in the bend of the hook and then knead the bait ball around it. TIP: When fishing for very large specimens, you should therefore increase the size of both the feeder balls and the bait balls.
