The TDR QD from DAIWA is a reel specially developed for feeder and method fishing. The Daiwa TDR has a lightweight HardbodyZ Aluminum milled housing and is equipped with 8 ball bearings. The open air rotor provides a significant weight saving of 15% compared to a normal rotor. The machine-milled Digigear (R) II gear drive ensures that this reel is suitable for the heaviest loads. The hollow Airbail (R) shackle features a TwistbusterII (R) line guide that minimizes the sound of the main line when overtaking. In addition, the resistance between line and line conductor is significantly reduced with this system. Both the standard and the spare Aluminum spool are made according to the ABS (R) system, which allows for further casting and less kinks in the main line. The Aluminum spools are equipped with a so-called HIP High Impact Line Clip that will not damage the line. The Daiwa TDR QD 18 is equipped with a Quick Drag slip knob that can be adjusted very accurately. The folding aluminum stitch crank has a soft touch handle.
